Regular Season Round 8: FMP BG - Cluj Napoca 98-104

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of SerbianFMP BG (3-4) in Beograd on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Romanian Cluj Napoca (5-2) 104-98 . Cluj Napoca made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Dusan Miletic (213-1998) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and American point guard Daron Russell (180-1998, college: Maryland) who added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists during the contest. Cluj Napoca's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Filip Barna (201-1999) responded with 24 points and 6 assists and scored 19 points and 6 assists. Four FMP BG players scored in double figures. Cluj Napoca have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending Romanian champion maintains first position with 5-2 record which they share with defeated FMP BG . FMP BG at the other side still keeps top place with four games lost.
